 Canada's premier airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) lies just minutes from the city's waterfront and features almost 31 million annual passengers. This is almost double the passenger traffic of Vancouver Airport, the country's number two.

Pearson Airport offers travelers a variety of ground transportation options. These include taxis, shuttle buses and public bus services, which are operated by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and run between the airport and surrounding areas, including downtown Toronto. A LINK Train service connects both terminals 1 and 3, the Viscount Station car park, and also the onsite Sheraton Gateway Hotel.

Known first as Malton Airport, the Toronto Pearson Airport of today was established in 1939, quickly becoming one of the busiest and most important airports in the whole of Canada. Some 20 years later, the airfield became known as Toronto International Airport, before being renamed once again in 1984 as the Lester B. Pearson International Airport, after a notable Canadian prime minister.
Now managed by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), Pearson Airport has seen considerable improvements over the past ten years, when more than $4 billion was invested. As a result, Toronto now has a world-class, award-winning airport (Best Global Airport), with modern terminals and piers capable of dealing with millions of passengers every year. Further expansions of Terminal 1 are planned for the future.
Conference and business facilities at Toronto's Pearson Airport provide a range of business services for the corporate traveler at a business center, which is situated in Terminal 2. In addition all the terminals at the airport have facilities for Internet access.
